Our Team: “The Peace Weavers”

Continuing our monthly meetings for the Artisans of Peace project, the community and staff of the Generalate of the Sacred Heart gathered to share feedback, exchange ideas, and strengthen our commitment to building peace together.

During this meeting, we also took an important step in shaping our group’s identity by choosing a name for our Artisans of Peace team. Everyone had the opportunity to suggest a name, and after sharing our ideas, we held a vote. By majority vote, we chose “The Peace Weavers” a name that reflects our desire to weave peace into our daily lives through small gestures, shared experiences, and meaningful relationships.

Following our ambassador Sheila’s suggestion, we also decided to create a graphic symbol that would represent our team. Margaret Pesuit, who is responsible for graphics and communications at the Generalate of the Sacred Heart, kindly prepared several designs for us to consider. Once again, we shared our preferences and voted to select the design that best expresses our identity and mission.

We are delighted to share with you the cartoon representing our group, “The Peace Weavers” a symbol of our shared commitment to weaving peace, one thread at a time!
