World March for Peace and Nonviolence in Rome
On September 26, 2026, the World March for Peace and Nonviolence took place in Rome. The march began at Ponte Milvio, crossed the Lungotevere, and reached Piazza del Popolo before continuing toward the Pincio.
Our Peace ambassadors from the Generalate community and a member of probation group Rome participated in the event and helped to carry a large peace flag as a symbol of unity and commitment to a world free from war and violence.
The event concluded with a flash mob featuring signs and messages calling for peace, dialogue, solidarity, and cooperation among peoples, while encouraging peacebuilding and an end to wars around the world.
