Let’s Get to Work! – Materials for Ages 3-6

The Fundación Sofía Barat, is generously sharing valuable educational resources with us under the theme: “Let’s Get to Work! Become Peacemakers.”

The collection also includes materials for various age groups, from 3 to 18 years old.

Here we share the preschool (ages 3-6) workshop program “Let’s get to work – be artisans of peace” for the 2026–27 academic year, designed by María Otín from Colegio Sagrat Cor Diputació in Barcelona.

The program’s core philosophy is that peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but an active, daily process of building. By using the metaphor of a craftsman, the workshop helps young children discover that peace is built slowly and deliberately—day after day—with care, love, respect, patience, and commitment. Rather than simply asking children to “behave well,” the curriculum aims to foster critical thinking, inviting them to observe, ask questions, and understand how their choices affect their own hearts, others, and the world.
